Ok so I hit the deer yesterday. I drove home with no issues. Haven't driven the car since yesterday. I went out to the garage tonight and the radiator fan is running. I start car and turn off. Still running. So I pulled ground battery terminal of course shut off. Reconnect, no fan. I have no grill damage. Any ideas? I searched but didn't see anything.

Thank you,
BC

confused...
do you have an aftermarket electric radiator fan? on 2uz-fe stock fan is belt driven - if your motor is off it cant move on its own.

The AC condensor fan is on a relay and will automatically turn on when running AC to help with cooling. I've replaced one already because I killed one doing a deep muddy water crossing and my engine temp started climbing when AC was running. I just installed a new fan and problem solved. I'm guessing since you were in the accident you likely have a short as TM pointed out above or a problem with the relay it is on. You should be fine unplugging it if you need to; just keep a eye on your engine temp if you are running your AC.
