Sorry about your loss :frown:
I heard this on a PBS show "Pets: A Very Natural History"
quoted by a little boy
"Everybody is born so that they can learn how to live a good life - like loving everybody and being nice, right?" The four-year-old continued, "Well, animals already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long."
Whoa, thats a hard one to read for some reason. Got two little girls myself and that quote from that little boy really makes me think, maybe we all knew more about life when we were kids than we do now.....sorry 'bout your dog, its truly like losing a person in your family. Just remember, youll see him again one day.....

Woody sorry to hear of your loss, when i was a teen i had a giant alaskin malimute that i loved alot. she used to dig holes in the yard that i could fit in and she was very protective when the wife and i were going out and were joking around the wife would smack me and molly would jump in between us and growl at the wife. man i loved to start arguements when the dog was around it was halarios. i miss her she was the best dog i ever owned, she made it about 15 years before her arthritist in her hips basicly crippled her and i had to have her put down. that was one of the saddest days of my life :crybaby: that dog went everwhere with me and was like a best freind.

makes me think of all the four legged friends I've had who are no longer here with me. I miss them all. sorry to hear it Woody.

Woody, very sorry to hear this man. I too have many of my furry four legged friends up in heaven hopefully waiting for me to meet them, while they are there waiting, I'll pray that they welcome Teak as they play with one another. This tears the heart out each and every time. My thoughts are with you man.

Ive had to put 2 dogs down and my cruiser dog is 11 and getting too old to get in the truck without help, but hes a a typical swamper, always wants to drive(avatar).I know when i get to my final destination i'll see em all again.Thoughts are with ya Woody.

I had the pleasure of meeting Brian and C at the Roundup this year. We hadn't been talking more than ten minutes when Brian told me about his very stubborn dog named Teak. I could tell Brian sort of respected the stubborness (sp??) year after year. I have a 2 year old dog now and hope it is a very long time before we part ways. They really seem to get under your skin in nothing flat.
