Sorry for the loss.

Our yellow (Bailey) is 10 and it's my wifes first pet. It's going to be a hard day when she goes but the joy she has brought us far outweighs any sorrow. 14 is a good run for a dog and although it doesn't help much, there is some solice in the fact that a full life was lived.

Sorry for your loss, Woody. My dogs have always been part of the family and it always hurts to lose such a great companion. You have my sympathies.......

He is in dog heaven. What more could a man ask of a friend.

My deepest sympathy.. as one who's best friend since 93 has been my fat dopey dog misha.. they touch our lives like no other can.

 to teak.. I'll drink a cold one in his honor tonight..

Man its ruff....My 14 y.o. lab also went to doggy heaven in june. The hardest part has been that we have not replaced her with a new family member yet. Soon though. My Condolences :frown:

I am sorry for your loss.

Brian,

I think we can be comforted that your Teak, my Gocko, and the other pets are playing in the meadow that Paublo described. I'm sorry for your loss but glad that Gocko has a new wheelin' friend.

Thought about this last night.

Sat down on the back porch with Emily, a six pack and a cigar to celebrate Teak's life..

Emms is 11 now. Getting a bit old too.

Very sorry Brian.

I know there are truly no words for this type of loss and pain.

Time however does dull it somewhat.

Sorry for your loss Woody. A good dog is one of the greatest joys in a man's life.

Hi All:

Brian, I'm deeply saddened to hear of Teaks passing! My dog Josie is laying at my feet - she has been with me the entire time since I came home from work 4.5 hours ago - she has been living with us only for about four years now, but is definitely part of the family.

Best wishes to you & your wife! Getting a new puppy in a few weeks would probably make you both very happy, and spark memories of your time with Teak.

Regards,

Alan
