quick question

Tonight I was riding home in the cruiser jamming out, and I hit the gear shift to the beat (Rolling Stones) and my Power and Second Start buttons popped on....they have lights?! It got me thinking....does the electric mirror adjustment area all have backlighting?? Because mine doesn't. Some of my lighting is dim. If I go behind it, could I brighten it back up?

My 2004 does not. Or, maybe mine is out too?
I run my dash lights very low at night, so maybe I have lights out in places where I never knew were lit, but it doesn't look like the power mirror adjusment is one of those.
