I was working on my Sniper install and mounted the manifold adapter I received from Red Line. I do have an email into them, but don't expect to hear until Monday. The adapter mounted to the manifold fine, but the studs to hold the Sniper to the adapter go right through the holes. One of them basically drops through, the others are loose and they come out the bottom. I'm assuming it is machined wrong? Or am I an idiot and don't know what I'm doing. Well, I am an idiot, but per their instructions, it sure doesn't seem correct. Anybody who has used this one, or similar, care to confirm or set me straight? Much appreciated.

I also ordered a bunch of stuff from them I can't use. My intake must be from an older 40 so the heat shield won't work. The throttle cable adapters won't work either. I'm missing the mounting points on my intake and I'm assuming their firewall bracket is designed for a throttle setup that still has the linkage on the pedal. I was able to attach the cable with a little creative welding on my pedal.

In case anyone reads this, I spoke with one of the techs that works at Red Line today. He is puzzled as well and will be talking to their machinist who made the parts. He reproduced my issue with one they have from the same run. I am a big believer in one measure of a company is how they deal with issues. So far so good in that regard.

Red Line contacted me today and is shipping a new unit with a return for my defective one. They confirmed the threads were machined wrong and they are in the process of contacting other customers who purchased from this batch.
