So I have the Holley sniper efi autolite 1100 installed. It starts up great, idles fine. but the exhaust smells super rich.

I believe this is to someone messing with the IAC screw before it was up to temp... (definitely not me) I can't quite find how to reset the IAC screw to a "factory setting" to reset system.

The IAC shows 62% on the screen, during initial start up and idle.

No vacuum leaks from what I can tell, I have a gauge and it's running around 18 in hg. I sprayed carb cleaner around the intake and no changes to the rev.

Any suggestions on resetting the IAC screw? Right now I tried screwing it all the way out then screwed it back in slightly where it feels it started to engage.

Thanks in advance.

Are you running a Ford inline 6 in your truck? I have never seen anyone adapt that model Sniper to a 2F.

This is direct from the Holley site.
IDLE SETTING/THROTTLE PLATE SETTING
Once the engine is up to operating temperature (above 160° F), the idle speed can be set to what was configured in the Wizard.
To do this, open up the Initial Startup gauge screen. With the vehicle in neutral, adjust the idle screw until the IAC Position
reads between 2% and 10%. While adjusting the throttle plate screw, watch the TPS value and make sure it stays at 0%. While
adjusting the throttle plate screw, the TPS position may begin to read higher than 0%. If this happens cycling the ignition switch
will recalibrate the TPS back to zero.

These two documents are vital if you are going to setup your system.

I’m running the original f135 engine. It’s the great grandfather to the 2f. It originally comes with a single barrel SD40 carb. The autolite 1100 bolts up with some slight massaging.

I did find a solution to the problem and am now at 0% IAC.

Here is the link I found incase anyone else has this issue.

This was the piece I was missing:
"Turn the idle speed screw on the primaries in about 2-3 turns after it makes contact with the linkage and starts opening the primary throttle blades"

That brought my IAC down from the 100-60 range to 0. Now to warm the engine up and adjust to 8.

Thanks
