I pulled the trigger and purchased a Losi CC that should be here tomorrow!

It is supposed to be RTR so i can run it when i get it.

My question is that in the list of upgraded parts it has this: Has an Ofna starter box motor in it, and up graded alum. motor binder with built-in heat sinks....

Can you guys tell me what those are?

Thanks!

Ha - guess you, me and J talking last weekend spurred a purchase :hillbilly:.

Got any pics? I heard it was a good deal and in good shape!

Yea, i sat there and thought about it and finally convinced myself that i deserve a treat! So, i pulled the trigger!

So far i have found out what the starter box motor is....

Basically they make a box that has an electric motor that turns a wheel that spin starts gas powered RC cars. The guy i'm getting the rig from said it's a super high torque motor that is kind of like a tractor motor in essence. He said it's not brush-less as his budget wouldn't allow for that, but it's nearly indestructible and very hard to burn up.

now i need to figure out what the motor binder is...

Dang this is going to be a bunch of new learning... :hillbilly:

Man, this thing is toooo cool :D

the motor binder holds the motor to the transmission and the heat sinks will dissapate the heat before breaking down the gear grease in the transmission......
