A handful of people I work with will be going to the Lake Pleasant area for some quad riding on Sunday April 11th.

We will meet at 8:30 but dont have a meeting place determined yet - obviously somewhere on the west side. I will post it up when it is finalized.

If anyone would like to join us with their dirt bike, rhino, or any other small motorized vehicle that would make Al Gore squirm, we look forward to a beautiful day! I hear the trail system there is nice.

Howdy! Go out to the Boulders OHV area at mile marker 11.5, north side of Hwy 74. They have a large, dust controlled staging area, free maps, and great trails. BLM does a good job of keeping the trails well marked at every intersection. BLM, Game n Fish, and County Sheriffs' deputies are all becoming more agressive on enforcement, so hope your group all has their little black AzOHV stickers on the license plates, legal spark arrestors, and required safety gear. I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but just trying to prevent any hassles. That whole area is very busy/popular/patrolled. John

Excellent points John, With the AzOHV stickers a relativley new thing, some people are not aware of them. There are $25.00 per year and can be done on-line.

We all run stock quads -mostly utility style - so they come legal except plates/stickers. Riding gear is always a must!

Thanks for the tips
