New-to-me rig, I pulled the Toyota wind deflector mounted to the front edge of the hood. Underneath was a horror show of pine needles, moss and dirt that required an hour with a buffer to fix the clearcoat.
I prefer the cleaner look, but now the hood does not latch as snug. When I pull the release it doesn’t give a little *pop* up. I did give the hood bumpers in the corners a twist, but then the hood sits a few mm high. Maybe the rubber gasket at the hood front edge got squished by the deflector?
Any trick to doing a successful delete?
