Bought a '14 460 on Saturday. Clean Carfax, They showed me their service history from the service department. Serviced every 5k at the purchasing dealer. Lucky for me, they did not want to release the car until Penfed check cleared. Went home and decided to check the service history on Lexus owners site. The second service showed customer bringing the car back suspecting frame damage from an accident. The service advisor said that the driveshaft was not aligned. Went back and canceled the deal. Seems like Lexus owners site shows more info than the dealer has access to.

Dealer should very well have access to that infromation since any average person like you or me can find that. They were either lazy, incompentent, or purposefully decieving you.
More piece of mind that makes me lean towards Lexus, the lookup ability not the bad dealership.
