Well I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on lining my tub with a product that is similar to Line-x with exception that its slightly more rubbery. I'm doing the interior preping myslef and was curious as to how much sanding I should do. Should I do a scuffed surface or should I go all the way down to the bare metal?

Also, do you guys think I should fill the gas tank drain hole (I removed the interior tank) or should I leave it.

Comments appreciated.

The tank is gone..I relocated it to the rear.

You don't need to go to bare metal. I'd be a little worried about rust starting on the bare metal between the time you sand it down and when they spray it. Here's picture from when I had my Tundra done. Their guys did all the work. It's just needs a rough surface to bond to. As you can see, they didn't go to bare metal:

Hope that helps you out.
