Puerco run Saturday March 31st? Calling 80 owners

As mentioned in a previous post, Dan Morgan is in the market for new suspension/lift and lockers for his 80. I though no better time for Dan to look at other 80 series member rigs with a run out to the Rio Puerco next Saturday March 31st around 10am at the end of Southern Blvd?

I would sure like to get out and play, but it will depend on work. I will pencil it in on the calendar for now and post up later next week as we get closer to 3/31. He's welcome to check out my truck and I have a few thoughts/ideas/lessons learned for him.

i've had a wrenching session that weekend with my buddy and his xterra he's building on the books for a long time. i can't make a run but you guys are welcome to come out to my place and look over my rig, either day, and once you are out this far, ali's place is just down the road, he's been a big source of my mod/build inspiration and help (and no slouch on execution himself)... just let me know if you guys want to swing by and i'll get you info, i'm on S337 past juan tomas road.

It'd be good for Dan to see the 2.5" lifted 80 like mine and John's. I think that's a well rounded lift that won't break the bank, with good street/hwy manners while not opening up Pandora's box. Evan's 5" and other 4" lifted 80s certainly requires you to open up Pandora's box and your wallet all at the same time!!!

Dan should also drive various 80s to get a feel for the whole package, if possible. Every 80 drives a tad different, I think.

I think chances look pretty good for me to make it on Saturday. I will continue to monitor this post, but will plan for the suggested 10 AM meeting at the end of Southern in the sand dunes unless I hear otherwise.

Well ya....40 owners know this time of year you take the 40 because you don't sweat your balls off. Save the Hundy for July and August

Ohhhh and the Grey Poupon is for 40 as well....they are called ICONS
