I have been playing around with my PTO winch on my '78 FJ45 and I kept hearing a metal to metal sound. I figured out that the yoke on my PTO winch shaft has been hitting the crank pulley during engagement. I have a three groove pulley on the crank but I suspect that it would still hit regardless of which type of pulley was on the crank. Has anyone experienced the same problem and come up with a good fix?

there isnt a fix. the rear groove for the A/C is too big to allow for PTO and the a/c crank pulley. find a 2F 2 groove and you wont have this issue.

Discovered this issue on my FJ45, but before I ran the engine.
