Hi Guys, some don't know how to use the PTO winch, made a little tutorial on it. It is the simplest way, you can also use it in drive gear but for this tutorial the transfer is in neutral.
Good stuff, but the shear pin will break at 1.5 tons much less than 8,000 lbs. I have sheared to the OEM and OEM upgrade pins and now have to 2x 6 mm cap screws. No problem since then. Also I repalced the 4 non-greasable OEM U-Joints with greasable Precision 395 U-Joints, which fit very good. More info here...
Much appreciated. I have been looking to buy a 70 series and it seems most of the ones I have looked at come with a PTO winch...I wasn't sure how to operate the PTO if I did find a 70 series with one and brought it home. Now I do!
