I'm rebuilding my PTO box and the reverse idler gear bushing is showing some wear. Its not trashed- but there is some scoring that looks to me to be heat related. Not sure how that could happen- I suppose there could have been some transfer box shavings hanging out in the bottom to the box there. I have no idea as the box is new to me.
The bushing itself is NLA. I'd probably have to have one made and its not an easy job. To me it looks usable- especially since I have never had a box with reverse before. So what do you use reverse for and in what situations?
Best!
