Hi guys
I have a japanese import FJ62 with factory PTO winch and was wondering what the rating of these are? Ive heard that the pound ratings given to winches may not be comparable since some describe line pull and others absolute hoisting weight? Any idea how my factory 60-series PTO would translate into 'Warn-style' pound units? Thanks.

it will be mostly rated by the shear pin strength... if it is the original it is not enough to even consider. go to a pin for the HZJ75 and the strength will go up considerably... i pull my PTO off before i got to test the strength...
sorry

Wayne,

Where does one get the PTO shear pin for an HZJ75? I'd like some spares but at home in B.C. I could only get ones for the '40/55 PTO's.

Morning,
part # 90240-05004
you will need to drill out the flange and nipple to the right size. it is easy to do on the vehicle...
HTHs
cheers

it's not strong enought to pull a fully laden 61 burried into the skeg up to its frame rails with 36" tires....
:whoops:

operator error may had something to do with that..... :o
