Thanks Jan. I think you're right about the transmission tunnel but that's easily dealt with.

I don't have access to tools, welder, etc for more serious mods. I can drill holes though.

yeah... what he said.
Cut the hole in the tranny hump for the stick/boot.
Also will have to drill/tap or weld the driveshaft supports (pillow block(s)) to the frame. Well, there might already be holes there.
Then, mount the winch.

easy peasy! (your experience may vary)

Two fitment concerns:

1) I have a space that is 31" wide, 6 3/4" deep, and 4 1/2" tall in the bumper
2) skid plates

I have attached a couple pics. Whaddya think?

hmmm... how does that thing attach to the frame?
the 6.75" deep might be the problem. What would be the distance from the front wall of the bumper (where the cable comes through) to the front frame crossmember?

after staring at these picts for a while, there might be another issue. Exhaust.
Can you get a shot from the rear, of the exhaust going past the transfercase?
Also, distance from exhaust to frame-rail in that first pict.

I'm 90% sure this will fit... but it will take some minor fabricating and exhaust work.

The bumper is attached to the frame rails with 6 13mm bolts. The bumper is aluminum. My fear of aluminum has me concerned. Is it too soft / malleable for a high-torque winch?

I've attached pics that hopefully illustrate the clearance around the exhaust. I have no idea how the PTO actually attaches so I'm not entirely following along here.

Hope this is helpful. Let me know if you need more shots of anything.

The PTO case bolts on where this plate is (circled in white). When you take that plate off you can see the PTO gear inside.
cheers,
Jan
