Bump. If you don't know jeff aka Icky, he's a stand up guy.

How hard would it be to modify the shafts for a 40 series?

Thanks!

This came out of an '89. I have a factory PTO on my 60-series and the shafts are the same. The distance between the transfer case and the front of the truck should be the same on the 40 and the 70-series. The only shaft you might need to modify would be the forward one (i.e., the winch shaft) and that would be depending on your bumper and winch type. I'm not a "40 guy," but a BJ70 and an FJ40 are very dimensionally close! (Sorry it's took me so long to see your question!)

The unit is up on EBay now, at a considerable discount (considering what this costs NEW!)!
