Im midstream in my never ending Scout PS install and Im embarrased to say how long ago I started this project.
Im mounting a GM pump on the 2F block using the PS pump bracket off a straight 6 Chevy as described by Jim Van de Ven in the Tech Links. How thick a piece of steel can I use to take up the 1/2 inch between the top of the head and the bottom of the bracket without compromising the bite of the head bolts? I really dont want to deal with stripped out head bolts.
Thanks,
Blake
