I didn't buy a $600 1992 80 series off of Craig's list this weekend.

Yet.

Ill give you 200 for the front axle. And you can keep the high pinion. (Which is worth damn near as much as the truck)

Road trip.

It's a 92, so despite the what it says in the ad it's not a locked diff.

I thought about parting it. The 3FE is worth a couple of hundy pretty easy. I could use some interior parts myself.

I think I know some guys who can use body panels.

If you're not looking to keep the 3FE pm me some details like mileage, condition and price.

I'll take the cup holders, can never have enough cup holders.

80's didn't have cup holders. They had square indentations that fooled you into thinking they were cup holders. They worked while you were stopped in the parking lot of mcdonalds and you shoved your drink into it looking at it thinking ok, it seems to be somewhat of a snug fit. It should be ok, only to accelerate and have it spill out backwards on to the carpet or to stop and have it spill all over the hand brake and front portions of the gear selector.

Or if you were dumb enough to pay the $50 some odd dollars for the jap version of the cupholder that goes in place of the indentation on the dash above the radio, you ended up with a piece of plastic that vibrated over ever single bump and managed to spray coke over everything on your dash windshield and head liner...

But besides that the cup holders in an 80 are great.
