I am considering a local trail run on one of the following dates. ,11/1 or 11/8
I have a couple of potential Trail routes in mind. Trails would be suitable for any vehicle stock or modified. If any interest you can contact me directly or through this post. I can share details dependent on level of Interest.

After some discussion with a couple of drivers. The confirmed date(s) for the day run & option for camping is 11/8-11/9 . The destination is Anza-Borrego Desert. More details will be posted in the next 48 hours. You can reach out to me directly or through this post . This trail run will be suitable for any vehicle stock or modified.

Update Anza-Borrego trail run & camping(optional) . See meeting location Julian, below saturday 11/8 @830-845 am . From there we travel to the trailhead location "canyon sin nombre". For those that wish to make it a day run only , there will be a specific exit location along the trail run where we will come back on pavement Hwy 78 briefly. Before continuing on to the slot canyon area and camping sites. This schedule and itinerary are subject to trail conditions and any weather changes. Although at this time of the year there shouldn't be any issues. This route has been run a couple of times by other club members in recent years, and is a popular scenic overlanding run. The low desert climate in early fall should be comfortable.

😟 Just saw this. Can't do the 8th. I have a charity bike ride in San Diego that Saturday. Too bad as I miss Anza Borrego.

Good morning folks, the AB trip is 2 weekends away now. Everything is still scheduled accordingly. Per the previously posted information . If there are any questions you can either post here, or contact me directly. Sometime(48 hrs) prior to the trip would like to have a general idea of how many drivers to expect? As always Itinerary is subject To change dependent on Trail access And/or significant weather changes. Most of our trails & camping is within the Anza Borrego State Park boundary.

Howdy Folks, the AB trip is fast approaching , the weather forecast looks warm days & comfortable in the evening(no wind). Look forward to seeing everybody at the Rally Point 11/8 Saturday morning in Julian @830-845. Here are 2 potential camping coordinate locations below. Keep in mind these sites may already be occupied. If there are any questions you can contact me directly or post here. I'm not sure the total driver count at this point.

For those traveling tomorrow to Julian Meetup location. 5fwy or15fwy to hwy 78 east , The town of Ramona is the last reasonable fueling location before you reach Julian. Fuel in Julian is very$$$$

Significant 5 Freeway construction activity this weekend highly recommend you take 15 freeway instead to avoid major delays. You can check this out yourself it has been Well published that the five freeway in north San Diego County Southbound will be heavily impacted all weekend.
