the rep that services our shop brought by propolyne to test instead of using acetelyne. actually worked quite well, cutting 1" plate with ease, also poking holes in plate, much less slag and clean cuts.
the rep is getting the #'s but it looks like we will be changing over to using it instead of acetelyne.

it costs more per bottle, but each bottle lasts much longer. 5-6 bottles of acetelyne= 1 bottle of propolyne

only issues are you can't gas weld with it and cutting thin stuff, 1/8" and smaller it doesn't cut good. for us at work we hardly ever use thin stuff and when we do we have a plasma to cut it.
