exhaust and fuel cell this weekend :D

That is with one minor stop by NASA to visit their machine shop :D

(Gotta try to beat Lar)

J,
You just let me know if you need anything more done like that circle...its no problem:). Nice work on the exhaust btw.

Lar

And it was done without Lasers :D

Thanks Lar, I'll definately keep ya in mind.

looking good! That is some great work on the exhaust. I Love the Y pipe idea as well as the 3". So will you be flying up & driving it back? :D

I don't think I would worry about the exhaust being next to the trans pan. mine was setup like that for about 80k miles.

Mace, did you ever find out if the AIR injection is ahead of the 02 sensors or not? Was going to finish this today. (got parts yesterday) Muffler is hung and currently working on the tailpipe. Need to drop the Y-pipe to weld in the 02 bungs and AIR fittings.

Ill post pics later

Pics of the tank... Weld quality wasent consistant (Its been ALONG time since Ive tig'ed) but I only ended up with 3-pinholes when we leak checked it so I was happy. (on my tank I had like 20)

Tank uses an extended fj60 sender and the other plate is for the in-tank fuel pump.

Tank is fully baffled

Still need to install O2 sensors and AIR injection tube in the Y-pipe and a gasket between the Y-pipe and cat, need to pick up some washers for the hangers for the tail-pipe and then Ill get some pics up of that. It turned out pretty cool. (wife says its the bomb:D)

Chris:cool:

And to think, that is a 80 lb dog :D

Right on Chris..

Air injection happens pre O2 sensors for some odd reason..
(I would think it would screw them up but...)

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

After checking my post I realized there is too much tech in this thread so here's some chit-chat to get it back on track.

One of the reasons I didnt get this finished this weekend was our new neighbors threw a house-warming party and invited everyone over. My new neighbor is the big guy on the right playing the electric.

(These guys ROCKED!!!)

Not till I get washers for the hangers. It looks unfinished and I dont like that. (It has 5 hangers between the muffler inlet and the tailpipe )

Ill get the Y-pipe out and O2's/AIR pipe in tonight and post more then.
