Prinsu or Victory roof rack?

I really appreciate everyones input. Sounds like for my use I'll be better off with a solid rack. I wasn't set on the erector set style racks, it just seemed like they are the most popular.

I doubt I'll carry multiple canoes, and at the moment we just have this Old Town. I do plan to build some cedar strip built canoes when I find some spare time I'd especially like to build a flat back freighter canoe.

Love the Old Town canoe. I've lived / worked / grew up in Old Town for all but 7 of my 48 years. I had to get out of town for a bit in my 20's.

It has been a great canoe and even better as I purchased it at an end of season scratch and dent sale for about 30% off. Haven't used it much the past few years while overseas but looking forward to getting out on the water next year to catch up on lost time. So many lakes to explore!
