Price Range for 2002 LX470

Hello all,
I am shopping for LX470. I saw an add for a 2002 with 86k, second owner with maintenance history. Timing belt was not done. how much would you pay for it if its in good shape? the LX is in the DC area and he is asking 17800.

I've been searching for quite some time as well for a 100 series or lx. i did find one in excellenct condition, under 110k miles, two owners,no issues with the motor… very clean. they were asking for $15,995 and after fees and all it'll come out to be about $17,200. which is pretty good I'm guessing

Miles are pretty low but I still think the price is $2-3k too high. I personally would look for a 2003+ with the 90k service done, even if the miles are a bit higher. The 5 speed auto alone makes is worth it.

I ended up with a garage queen 2002 LX 470 with 63k miles for $18750.
Kinda high on the price but a great value considering I just have to maintain it at this point and not fix anything.

When I bought my 2002 I had a lot of trouble finding one in my price range with a interior that was not dryed out from the sun. I think you can fix most mechanical stuff but interior of a clean car is hard to replace.

There isn't much to choose from where I live (Pittsburgh PA). most of the trucks have a lot of rust. I think that if I can get it around 15K it will be a good deal. coming from a Land Rover Discovery I am sure Ill be happy. Back home (Israel) I have a 93 Toyota Hilux with over 600,000KM and 98 LC 75 with almost the same mileage.
