Thanks! I believe it! It's hard to beat IFS for road driving. Plus, the 4.7 is butter-smooth.

I'm talking to the owner of one IDENTICAL to the one I missed out on above, with the exception of 35k fewer miles and no big ticket repairs have been completed.

It's in FL, and I've posted in 2 FL forums asking if someone is willing to look at it on my behalf. So far, no luck, and I thought it wouldn't hurt to mention it here.

It's in Spring Hill, FL.
 
FWIW when I was shopping in other states I checked in to local Lexus or Toyota dealerships doing a pre purchase inspection which ranged $150-200. All said I could talk with the tech who performed the inspection after. I didn't actually need to but if you can't find a Mudder might be an option. One LX I looked at here had had one done 6mo prior and it was a pretty thorough assessment along with repair estimates for anything they found.

Great idea! I hadn't thought of that. I should be talking to the seller shortly. Thanks for the tip. A kidder is still preferred... =)
 
Also, there are mobile vehicle inspectors who will actually drive out to the owner's home or dealership to inspect the vehicle of your choosing.
