Pretty nice bunch of folks. I rode up with the BLM to introduce them to the OHVA program a couple of months ago. I think they originally started out as a hiking trail support group, but now they are growing into motorized also. They had reps from Prescott, Chino, Verde Vally, and Sedona there. We were kinda recruiting and kinda showing them what can be done and how to do it, especially with a larger scale state-wide organization. One of the biggest challenges is getting everyone on the same page. State and federal organizations are concerned with liability, especially when it comes to powered equipment like chain saws. On the other hand, BLM does have explosive engineers on staff if major earth moving is required. If we can keep everyone focused on the same goal of ACCESS, then we can make a lot of progress.
