It was recommended by an individual that I install a larger gauge ground wire. Is there really a need to do so?

Won't be running much other than a phone charger and air compressor when needed. I chose it based on the recommendation of their sales team and 4 wheel parts shop here in IndyIf it replacing the stock battery, you don't need a larger ground wire. Can't hurt though. Curious what made you decide on a group 34, it's kind of a small battery? I have a 34 AGM in my 100 now and it's just ok, not enough to run fridge for 18 hours when it's warm. Group 31 in my other car has been great, haven't killed it yet.
