If the preload setting on the pinion nut is too tight can that cause vibration and in cab noise speeds 45++++?

I'm having this problem and the only other thing I can think of is my tires need replacing.

Thanks,
Nick

Usually excessive bearing preload will burn the bearing and thus leading to failure. I would suspect the U-joints first or the drive line needing balanced. Did you tighten or replace the pinion seal and overtighten the pinion nut? later robbie
