Time is getting short but since it looks like the Piggie isn't going anywhere I have a few things left to do before heading to FnF Thursday for set up...

1. Get the brakes bleed right and working smoother!!!!!
2. Replace Ebrake guts, I have the parts, and the current ebrake works "ok" but I'd like it really clamping for FG.
3. Drain and refill trans & both diffs
4. Tighten, tighten, tighten every screw in the interior to try and quell rattles
5. Get a good solid latching tub for gear that I can secure in the back. I'm thinking Rubbermaid ActionPacker.

Hook up CB.
Fix some Alternator wiring.
Load on trailer.
Beat into submission.

my front locker was acting up last weekend, it's the actuator, total crap in side. They're only $430.00 :frown: and there is only one available in North America. Talk about sales pressure.

Dave i have 2 of those action packers well my 2 about equal the size of that one. in one I keep all the fluids and in the other all the recovery stuff. be careful I have never had good luck mixing up the liquids with the recovery stuff.. EVER. nothing like a oil soak tow strap :) although my tools getting an oil bath actually wasn't a bad thing.
I have been getting the trailer ready all month and fixing things on the fj62. still need to lubbe everything and check the nuts and bolts on the fj62
the trailer has a new spare tire mount. I have put the ttr on a hingedframe so i can get inside the bed of the trailer with the tent on and ever open. was kewl searching for hte right latches. lenghted the extendable 3rd wheel on the trailer so now it is long enought to act as a leveler for the thrailer for sleeping purposes.
Ken you hav eto make it to atleast say Hi to Kevin and Amy and there old hobit dog.

Ken - congrats on the house...good luck with the move...carve out a "sanity day" and come to the FG for a day in the woods.

- replace diff cover
- finish half doors
- remove self from chaos and leave town for FG!

Buy gasoline and pray the engine and 3 speed survive long enough to get me there and back.

Oh geez... I forgot Kevin and Amy are gonna be there. Gotta go now!

Moved in yesterday. Took me 20 mins this morning just to find all the stuff I needed to take a damn shower. Moving sucks. But my new garage RULES, so it's all good.

I have a few of those Action Packers, I keep one of the smallest ones in the back of the Lexus with a basic tool kit, misc supplies, etc. I also have the largest one for camping gear, it's too heavy when it's full. But they are very durable. Not totally 100% weatherproof though, I solved this with some stick-on foam weatherstripping around the underside of the lid.

wire in..
air compressor
inverter
2-12v sockets
put some rubber between the high-lift and its mounts (rattling like a sob)
fire extinguisher

weld on sliders and bumper for kyle and hook up inclinometer

by the way Dave where did you get that action packer? i can t find them anywhere

haven't bought one yet, pretty sure they had them at either Kmart or Walmart, will check tomorrow.

I need to add a 12v socket for my tomtom and phone. The cig lighter in my truck no-worky.

Try Target for the action packers too.
