I am in for helping out with the winch install, and maybe change the fluids, just genreal prep trip work to the 4runner.

Cool, I was thinking of getting started on my truck at 9:00-10:00. We can all work together on heavy items like bumper removal and work individually on other things. Rising Sun does several of these sessions and it's a great way to learn about your vehicle and other people's as well as building relationships amongst the club members. It allows people to work off of each-others strengths. One guy may be great with electronics while another will know drive-trains like the back of his hand.

For reasons known, the wrenching session is most likely canceled. I can still make it happen if anyone else needs to install anything.

Wrenching session on. Saturday April 14th at my place. PM or email me for details.

Since I don't currently have a truck, I'l be working on some other little garage projects through the day.

Crashes new rig:

Install lift
Tires
Cb radio
Brushguard removal
Running board removal

Any alignment shops open on Saturday in grand junction?

BBQ hamburgers and beer lunch?

Cheers,

Matt

I get my alignments at Firestone. Got lifetime alignments for $150. I've had my truck aligned ~6 times. Every time I do something to the suspension, height, etc. well with it and they are quick and do a good job.

Open till 7:00 pm on sat. Appointments recommended.

My list.
Wire trailer and install some new hardware.
New fuel lines on J**p.
Fluid change on J**p.

I wish some of the shops around here did lifetime alignments. Just paid $80 for an alignment and truck doesn't want to wander like it did after the leveling lift was installed but now it pulls to the left. ugh.

Almost worth the drive to GJ. I'm at $25ea for mine right now and I'll get another one done right before CM.

Will be in GJ around 10:30am after I go by the bank in the morning. Jonathan give me a shout when you can!

It was a great and incredibly productive day. Got a lift on a 4Runner, removed crash multipliers, alignment done, got trailer wiring dialed in and started work rehabbing a '72 CJ5 by removing the fuel tank and running new fuel lines.

Tank you very much Matt and Galen for your help today on everything. Amazing what some teamwork can do! I hope we can make this wrenching session a regular thing and bring more people into it in the future. What's not to like, good company, free labor, cheap food, all the tools you could ask for.

Thank you Galen and Jonathan for all the help yesterday!! Couldn't of done it with out you guys! Awesome way to spend a day with great people! Would love to see our wrench parties grow for our club. It's a great way to learn about your rig or other type of rigs, so everyone is more prepared for the trail. Would love to get another one in before Cruise Moab.

Love the Pics Jonathan!!

Looks like you guys had a very productive day. Now I really feel like a lazy bastard, I couldn't even work up the motivation to finish my CB install!

We will be doing 2 more wrenching sessions prior to Cruise Moab if anyone needs help. We are planning at Saturday 4/21 starting at ~Noon and Sunday 4/29 starting at 9:00am.

Sweet!!!

After picking up the Maggalina and doing some shopping in GJ I could swing by and help out for awhile, just need directions to your place Johnathan.
