Wanted Pre 75 FJ40

Hey fellas,
Long time lurker here, first post. Let me start by saying what a great site!

I grew up with an FJ40, and it's time to relive my childhood.

What I am looking for is a pre 1975 (California smog exempt) FJ40 in decent shape. I guess you caould say a frame on restoration. V8 with a 4spd, preffered.

You all know the crap thats out there, and what people think it's worth in thier own minds.

I drove one last week that was so cherry, but the ding dongs rubberized with the undercoating in a can the entire underneath, leafsprings, t-case, both bumpers, interior doors, and lower rockers.

But is was sweet to drive one again!

So if you know of someone in SoCal who wants to get rid of one, please PM me.

Also there is the Barnfind one for $4000.00 that is a project with v-8? both are registered and titled in California one is a 1971 and other is a 1973..

Have a '73 if interested

Hello. I have a '73 fj40 I'm trying to get rid of only because I need a back seat for our "growing" family. It has A '75 350 and a 4 speed. Had to redo a lot of work from the prior owner. On 36" performance tires with a 6" lift. 2" Body, 4" spring. Let me know if you are interested and I can give more details.
