Is there are reason that we all don't use a braided stainless steel PHH?

At least this would keep the integrity and the swelling of the hose down.

In a few weeks my bro in law will be here with his '93 and I may dethrone you. He's got around 275,000 on the original PHH and it's gonna get changed as soon as the engine quits ticking...

100's are looking pretty good right now!

I've got a west coast cruiser, changed the PHH at 69k. It was a tad swollen, but not in too bad of shape.....
