They are 6w3's and a xd200 amp. Considering there size and wattage they are very loud. Nothing that will blow you away, but way louder than any modern stock setup and the best part is no box in my way!

The Pioneer looks like it might be a possibility. Thanks for pointing it out CRC!

I have been running this one and love it.

Where do you have it located? Can I mount it over top of the original sub (right over top of the grille?

I keep my pioneer in the back. It fits behind the 3rd row seat easily. I like the sound, it's not insanely loud, but you can crank up if you desire. I ran the speaker wire under the carpet. I'm in the process of building a carpeted box/drawer system that fits the sub, and amp (if I need a new one) and a drawer for some tools.

If you love shaking the neighborhood, this pioneer sub won't be sufficient for your needs. If that's the case you could build a much bigger box in the back.

I'm considering adding this powered sub while keeping the factory amp and sub. Just looking to add some low end bass to the system without breaking the bank. Anyone actually using a powered sub? I know very little about car audio; would I be able to somehow split the signal from the factory sub to this powered sub so that both work?

I am using a 10" self powered tube from Fusion. Easy to take out when needed and gives me that much needed base in the car. I spliced the Fusion sub speaker wire to the one that goes to the factory sub.
The 10" fits snugly behind the third row whenever I use it.

Cheap way of getting some much needed base. Around $100.

Thanks! Did you have to use a line level converter or just wired straight to your powered sub?
