anyone running a powertrax locker seems reasonabley priced. trucks should spin both rear wheels as the ladies like it.

hey i was raised on dukes of hazzard i can represent. thanks.

We had a PowerTrac "Lock-Right" in the rear of one of our company trucks. We either had to remove the PowerTrac, or take the company name off the side of the truck. People started wondering if ALL our products make that much racket

a TRD diff...

Or an Aussie, my personal favorite. First locker in a toyota, but ive had a powertrax (GM) and detroit (GM) for comparison... I prefer Aussie!

the power trax that I have is in the front.
but after 4 years it is not locking all the time.

or takes a turn or more of one tire before it locks.
mine never made any noise.

a do over would be a detroit.
been around for ever and well built.

no one questions a detroit. save the extra 200 bucks and get it.

A Detroit what?

Full case? Then yes, I strongly agree. A full case anything is better than a "pocket locker" anything.

A full case is far more robust and complex than a pocket locker. They are not even close to being the same thing. They drive similarly, but that is where the similarity's end.

A "pocket, or lunchbox locker", then I strongly dis-agree. The Aussies seem to have the best rep as far as those types go. So that leads we to believe there is something either to the metallurgy, or the construction of the Aussies.

Aussies work so well because they follow the K.I.S.S. Logic :flipoff2:
