So I've ordered a new OEM Toyota power steering pump, and hoses + reservoir from Rock auto and I have been doing some research regards the proper liquid to put after the replacement. I've seen on one of the threads on here that idemitsu is the OEM fluid. But couldn't verify that statement anywhere online. And I have read that pretty much any Dexron III /ATF transmission fluid should work. 🪨 Auto seemed to have quite a few options i wanted to ask on here if anyone had any experience with any of the options (see I have attached photo of the options. Any input /suggestions/recommendation will be. Very much appreciated 🙏🏻

In my most humble opinion, any ATF fluid will work. I have used Dexron II, III, IV, Mercon V (Ford's ATF) World Standard, cheap wal-mart P/S fluid, etc. and have had no noticeable difference in performance, or adverse effects. The only thing I have found that was important, was that it had enough of it...haha. But for the sake of continuity, you should go with what the FSM says. Dexron III or equivalent.

Stick to good brands.

Mobil1 Syn ATF

Valvoline Maxlife ATF.

I've read it on another thread here, but couldn't find any evidence nowhere that people that prove that fact. Where is this info from if may I ask?
The manual specifies Dextron 3, IIRC, so I’m skeptical this is OEM for the 100/470.
