Hi, Does anyone have an original fj40 power steering hard line off of their fj40 ? I'd like to borrow it to use as a pattern to make one up for my sons 1979 fj40. Most of this line is under the radiator. Thanks , Mike

No one had one to lend and I have not worked on the 40 in awhile . I need to cut out and weld in new floor pans but I need to learn how to weld first but been to busy with home construction .

Pretty sure a company called classic tube duplicated them. There are a couple threads here somewhere.

updated my classified listing but wanted to share here as well for future searches

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but why would you have 8ft of hard line to ultimately move the fluid one foot?

Cooling. The added length of steel tubing dissipates heat so a dedicated radiator is not needed. i.e., Effective low cost cooling solution for the needs of the power steering.
