I'm finally installing the steering box I rebuilt along with new Pressure and Return lines on my 3FE FJ80. Has anybody added a cooler to the power steering? I'm not sure how much value add it would be, but since the front of the truck is torn apart now is the time to do it. I'm running 33x12.5x15 tires.

Thanx for the feedback,
Brad

Not a bad idea if your going to wheel the truck hard. The 93 nad later 80 seris has one from the factory mounted on the front of the front cross member. I have seen some folks use a finned barrel style unit from Summitt Racing. John

That's exactly what I did when I went to a higher output PSC system for my ram-assist. I mounted the cooler on top of the front bumper in a protected area between the grille and winch. Just have to be careful to mount any cooler with the tubing run parallel to the ground so you don't get any trapped air at the bends.
