I recently picked up an ARB bumper for our Tundra and want to get it paint matched with the truck. I would love some input on whether I should go with powder coat or automotive paint. Are there advantages / disadvantages with either type? Cost seems to be similar at $250-$300. Thanks.

Welcome to the 200 forum with your Tundra question :). Powder coat is more durable and easier to touch up. I had what the coaters called a "carbon finish" on mine and touching up with POR15 is pretty much exact to the coat. It takes a beating and looks fairly good still.

If you never wheel or rarely do and want it to just look good, automotive paint is fine.

I figured someone would point out the Tundra thing. LOL. Pretend it's for our LX.

Is either finish just as easy to clean / wax? I like the easy touch up thing.
