Does anyone out there know what Powder Coat color matches as close as possible to the original white on the 80 FJ40 steel wheels? The powder coater has about 10 color whites that are close to the color I need, but I don't want to make a bad guess.
Your help is appreciated,
Thank you,
Vern

Is your heart set on powder coating? Just my $.02 but I think it's over rated. Get a scratch into the metal and forget the rest. My cousin, who has forgotten more about rebuilding, painting, and everything else automotive than I'll ever know, talked me out of powder coating anything a long time ago and it's been good advice. For steel wheels I sand blast it if necessary, hit it with some high phosphate spray, a good primer, and then a final coat. They look fine, resist rust, and if I want to make one look pretty again I can retouch any time I want. I don't know if you can recoat small areas with the powder coat process.

Cygnus White. Same as the bezel and the roof color. Take your bezel to match the paint and you'll have it. I trust that these are the "Mag" type wheels that are just like the US 60 series chrome style-just painted white. Correct?
