Hrd to go wrong for 200 bucks. A little TLC and some tires, bearings and grease and it might make a pretty good camper trailer. I'm not sure of the off road deal it might be a bit top heavy. The topper can stay behind and a new rack is in order but all in all, not bad. JMHO

That could be a good platform, but it's going to be heavy....

I was thinkig close to the same.

Cut out the lower boxes... remove the rear bumper and other unncessary metal... cleanup the front... spring it over (if it is not already)

Geez...that thing beatuiful if saw the free piece of @#$@ I am starting with! You've got options there...offer him a $100 drive away with it!

ohhh... and get rid of the shell.

I'm thinking about it....sucks I'm leaving town tonight for Turkey day. The guy is in a town southwest of Austin.

spring it over, put a flat cover over the box, get rid of the camper, and put on your tent...perfection...

Weight would be a big concern but ive never pulled anything with an FZL80 so i don't know how it would handle it. If you plan to pull it to and from campsites it would be great. With the currenlt approach and departure angles it would be hard to do much else.

Oh by the way with the camper shell this trailer has dirty old man written all over it.
