I got a call from a guy in Ventura looking to talk cruisers... He restored his 71 FJ40, and would like to show it off, etc. How far are you guys from Ventura? I know nada about So Cal.

Ross, we are approx 50 miles east of Ventura. There is a club in Ventura called Gold Coast Cruisers but we draw cruiser fans from more than 50 miles away mainly because we are a pretty active club and if I do say so myself there are a bunch of nice people in our club. Ross, I got a call last Tuesday from somebody in Ventura that got my # as the club delegate. Prolly the same guy. I talked to him for about 5 minutes. He was definitely NOT interested in the local club in Ventura. I told him a little bit about our club and he sounded interested, right up to where I told him where the meetings are held! Then he said it was too far to drive.

I told him there was a second chapter in his area, and he said he was going to look into it.
