I recently had my second timing belt installed and the mechanic (thetoyshop in Cypress, CA) mentioned that the face of the block was very pitted and he was concerned about the water pump seal? He dressed it the best he could but told me it may be impossible to fix. Anybody have that? Hear about this? They have done a lot of work on this thing as well as on my 80. Been a very good shop.
