I'm doubled up on my F.
Had no issues with it.
I did it because the exhaust was still leaking
a little.

OK, cool. Did you also have vaccumm leaks, or no? So was that 2 regular oem type gaskets? Excuse my ignorance, but the F is also a straight six and does it have a multi piece manifold?

Thanks Lane...

Well, I pulled the manifold back off...

Painted up all the surfaces with brush on copper coat stuff. 2-gaskets, painted both sides of each and bolted it back on. Still need to put back together all the other stuff I needed to pull in order to get at it.

I did let the copper coat stuff set up longer this time. The bottle said it is OK after a few minutes but I don't think that was enough. I have also decided that I will wait till after the coming weekend to start it. I am thinking that the extra time should help it cure/set up better before blasting it with the high temps of running.

If this all sounds like a novice writing...That is because it is! I really have very little experience with this sort of stuff, vehicle motor rehabilitation, restoration etc. So please bear with me and send me some luck.

Just an FYI:

NAPA manifold gasket, (Felpro)~ $34.99
Auto Zone, same exact Felpro~ $13.99

NAPA took over a week to get it and when it arrived, it was damaged! So they had to order another...
Auto Zone...24hrs and I had it in my hands. They even called me when it arrived.

I always had good luck with autozone and they are usually much friendlier than napa employees in my experience.

Perhaps my mistake was using the word "complete".
