Posting pics, and a damn ativar?

Hey how the hell do you guys get a picture on your ativar? I think they call it, you know that little picture by your name on the left side?

Ya, I got that far, but how do I actually take a picture from my computer, and post it as my avitar? I am computer dummy, I don't even have a digital camra, so my picture is a scam that Derek sent me.

I did some research on avatars, and apparently you need at least 10 posts before you can get one, so I guess I will just keep posting useless info untill I get ten posts and then the party can start

you will need to resize your picture to under 100 square pixels also, or 19K I think. If you have trouble I can resize your pic.

Yeah...it also has to be a certain size limit, Deny. So, if you have large files, you'll need to make it tiny first. How do you like my gangly gangsta that I found today (not me, by the way)? LOL!

Posting pics is simply using the attachment feature on the Post Reply page. They also need to be a certain size, and you have a limit of how many of these pics you have at one time. If you use up your quota, you can delete the older ones to make room for new ones. If you really need to have a lot more up at the same time, then you need to buy into a silver star membership.

One way to be able to post up unlimited pics is having an area that you can host pics outside this forum. Then you can link them here by using the

tags. HTH.

So I finally was able to get the avitar going, and I cropped it down to like 4.3KB (we're allowed 19KB) and it still tells me its too big, what the hell!
