When are you planning on the HG replacement?
Next weekend. The disassembly begins next weekend and drop the head off at the machinist (DA Clem) on Monday. If all goes well (fingers crossed) it will go back together the following weekend.
Not something I was planning to do but at 210K it was bound to happen sooner or later. If nothing else I finally found out why it hasn't been starting as easily as it used to. It's an inconvenience since we only have two vehicles but it will be fine. Anyone wanting to see a 1FZ apart in person stop by, there will be cold beverages in the fridge.
