Sorry but it's too hot and I'm too lazy to get isolated shots. First picture from left to right:

1. Gary Fisher Procaliber circa 1991 currently sporting 1 1/4 slicks
2. Santa Cruz Blur circa 2006. The bike I ride the most often. It's a sweet ride.
3. Kestrel 200 SC circa 1991 with Kestrel EMS fork and Campy Chorus triple 9 speed
4. Binanchi Axis circa 1990. It's a road bike with cantilever brakes--pseudo cyclocross bike
5. Schwinn Madison circa 1980-something with custom paint. It's a fixed gear, but I want to add a rear brake and make it a single speed (I'm getting too old for fixed gear).

What's your frame size on the Bontrager and how much do you want for it?

Bikes are like Land Cruisers you need more then one to be covered.:D
I dig the engine guard on the Dakar. I may be getting the new F 650 GS, if I can talk :princess: into it.

Well I sold the bike in post 5. I tried to sell this bike as is but didn't get any interest. So yesterday I converted it to a SS. I will probably sell it easy now! But that means I have to start riding my Mtn. Bike to work. Yuck!

It would look much better with a smaller seat and cooler handlebars.

UPDATE!

Well using this thread as a reference it looks like I started commuting to work in May. That is 18 days a month minus a few days I drove or took off work. It is a little over 4 miles one way but in the morning most of the ride is usually riding directly in to wind. Some mornings it is very difficult. I try to ride hard every morning and afternoon on my way home. I have lost almost 30 pounds and saved a lot of money in gas. Even at 4.3 miles both ways my gas hogs still cost!

It's not really about the gas though. I really love riding my bike. And now that I am getting back in shape I am even more motivated. I really hate driving to work now. It really makes me feel alive and in touch. I'm not sure what it is but everyday is a new challenge. I really love it! The Winter is going to be interesting!

Here are mine... A new Ventana 650b bike called the "El Bastardo" that is 27.5" tires. I am messing around with a 29er up front currently but will probably go back to straight up 27.5". Sort of like 26er with some of the benis of 29er but in a smaller package... This bike is just unreal...

The '98 S-Works hardtail/rigid/single speed. Possibly to become a 69er single speed which I have already messed around with a little and like. Just have to find the right fork combo...

And a Gary Fisher 29er single speed I recently sold...
