2002, Fordyce Trail, Northern California

33's, sprung over, detroit in the rear and that's pretty much it.

I duct taped the soft doors, advise from one of the by-standers, Great Advise!

This was Memorial Day weekend and plenty of people everywhere...

Sunday afternoon coming out, the Cruiser died in the deepest spot and no one to be found anywhere...the dent in the Cruisers hood is from me standing on it and when I did the body and paint I left it there, good times

Very Nice! I always went with the flow-through method rather than attempting to seal it up! If the far shore is at the bottom of the pic that's more like 240 CFS.

Yeah they haven't let people on the dunes down there since I've been driving.

Heard they closed it down after someone was killed because people were reckless.

Bradford NH, around 2003 the only time I've ever tried deep mud. This little trip
did coast me a clutch and starter from all the mud packed into everything.
Did get further than any of the Jeeps.

Built in tent

Great story,
Some guy takes his wife who is 9 months pregant and goes wheelin' with no sleeping bags and only coats to wear.
We find them @ dusk w/ broken knuckle studs and no way to repair them...
I use my tools (cobalt left hand drill bits) and my spare studs to get them going again, I let her use my sleeping bag to stay warm.
4 am the next morning we get them back to their camp.

We parked 100 yards away and, see pic for the end of the story.
