Then LexTech idled his white 80 with brand new KM2s right up it sounded like.....to put the pressure on. A couple more tried it such as BBQBoy in his :princess:FJ40 and KM2 tires...but no luck. So it was decided everyone would turn around and go back out because of the time as winching 14 vehicles up would take forever.

ADD $3000.00 due to the proven capability of the BEAST:flipoff2:

We are in a depression. $5000

So do we have some new members with the Fj's that joined us on the trails?

the yellow, the blue and the silver with all the lights are not members....two are from NC and one is from GA. They could be if they wanted and did not have an active club nearby them. THey were good people though and enjoyed having them.

everyone else you saw was a member...

does BBQBoy want to buy your 80....is this what this is all about and you are haggling over the price? With him saying it is not worth anything and needs a lot of work....LOL

It's not for sale, BBQ BOY found that out the night he borrowed the 80(THE BEAST) to go and retrieve his phone from the outpost, my daughter and her friend Lauren rode with BBQ BOY and Faith to the outpost and Mandy told him it was going to be hers, no ifs, ands or butts about it. Blood is thicker than water.
I make it a specific point to NEVER sell a vehicle to a family member or close friend, no matter what the condition of the vehicle is.
I will however keep my eyes and ears open for a decent 80 for BBQ BOY to purchase if he's interested. As i already have 3 other clients looking for the same type of vehicle.

Woops. I ran it in first

Now you have to go back and show them how it's done.

Brock and them make it look to easy with their fancy computer controlled rigs. Hell they basically drive themselves. It takes skill to drive an old school rig with 2 levers a clutch and going in and out of 2low/4low.

Jeremy

hahahahaha.......been there done that. it is still mostly driver no matter what the options. My computer controlled front end traction system still wont compete with a full locker up front and rear....at that point it become all about the driver and the line he/she takes.

by the way....I went up in 1st gear...I like keeping it near upper half of power band so I dont lose momentum...steady throttle.

Gear choice depends on how your rig is geared, weight of vehicle, tires, etc.......there is no cookie cutter choice for everyone.

You ever try and steer my 40? I don't care how good of a driver you are that steering is STIFF.

yeah, with those arms I am sure that Prius steers stiff too...... I wont tell you the comment your wife made about your "steering" LMAO

all in good fun.....but cant talk smack unless you actually come wheeling with us Belmont...so get the mystery FJ running will you. Who will be first between you and Doc to have a wheelable rig? :D :D

Thats funny - If I can steer a 40 with a tiny steering wheel anyone can.....well - my tires are a bit smaller I guess...And, it isnt too hard to steer it to Starbucks......but I still only weigh about as much as Mikes arms probably......

We need to swap 40's and drive around the block BBQBOY....I've never driven another one......I don't know if mine steers good or bad.....
