Rattle can? Come on, no way. Yes it was sanded and painted with a air sprayer. I'm looking forward to showing it off.

She took it out and called me.......

:princess: :"When did you change the tires?"

me: "Yesterday. It was time and I was tired of tripping over the tires in the garage."

:princess: :"I thought something was messed up with the FJC. I had to pull over to see why it was making so much damn noise. And it just felt funny as soon as the tires started rolling."

me: "I just wanted to see if you noticed the difference."

:princess: : " Of course I noticed, but it's fine by me."

I love my :princess:!!

and then you woke up:lol:

 No, then she went about her day and we haven't spoken about it again. Remember, this is the woman that pushed me over the edge to buy the blue 40, never said much about me selling it and buying Brian's and then wanted me to test drive the 60 at Superlift and she would have driven it home if we had bought it.

I love my :princess:!!

Tried that already (almost). I had a guy give me a 3" lift for the cost of shipping. I was going to put it on and mentioned it to her. She said thanks but don't waste my time......alas, I can't have everything......... :hillbilly:

Spoke to Jerome Weber today he has been through a couple rough and busy months losing his mother and with work transitions but is looking forward to seeing everyone at the next meeting. Here is an updated pic of his rig with new rims and tires. One of his golf partners just bought a nice 75 and we maybe seeing him around.

Hi, good idea, this post. All the technical talk is interesting and useful, but it's nice to see what everybody has done with his rig. Here's some before and after pictures of my 1983 HJ60 (4L, 6 in line diesel, H55F, OME 4" lift kit with shackle reversal, OME nitro shocks, teflon body lift appr. 1,5", home made kinda ARB bull bar with small winch, and 35x12.5/R15 BFGoodrich KM2's on 8" alloy wheels). The Cruiser was "ready" two months ago, three o'clock in the morning, a half hour before we left Suriname for a trip through Guyana, Brazil, and Venezuela. Hope you like it!

Sorry, here's the rest of the pics:)

You can't like to pictures on your hard drive. They would need to be uploaded...

or

Use an image storage service such as Picasa, Photobucket, or ImageShack and then link to them there.
